Interim Chief Executive Officer
Corey has held a variety of senior executive roles for nearly 20 years in both legal and business development capacities. Most recently he served as Chief Corporate Development Officer at Torstar Corporation with a focus on mergers and acquisitions as well as partnerships in media, energy and regulated industries. He has also served as General Counsel to three public issuers.

Chief Financial Officer
Chin has held numerous executive positions across a wide variety of functions, including finance, compliance, risk management, and technology. His prior experience includes time with The Hunter Group, Azerty United Canada, Hydrogenics and, most recently, CAPREIT. Chin is a CPA with more than 25 years of proven experience impacting business growth and maximizing profits with his contributions in financial management and productivity improvements.

Dean is a tech and gaming entrepreneur who has had multiple start-ups acquired over the past decade. His ability to spot and capitalize on cultural and commercial trends has led to a career that spans the streaming industry, live and online gaming and financial services. Dean’s expertise includes product development, brand strategy and engineering customer experiences.

Mike has two decades of experience in Canadian sports media, and has held a variety of editorial leadership roles. His strengths are developing and leading successful multiplatform content teams and strategies. Previously, he was Managing Editor of The Athletic, Toronto and Managing Editor of sportsnet.ca

With 15 years experience leading all areas of HR and Office Services, Gorett’s strengths lie in her commitment to an organization and its people advocating for a culture of collaboration, trust, learning and camaraderie. This has led to her most recent workplace becoming Great Place to Work Certified 4 years in row. She is an approachable, Go-To Person who thrives in building relationships and making meaningful connections with NorthStar Gaming’s current and prospective talent.
